Static wasn’t a robot. He couldn’t explain what he was to others, but to only two close friends he had. Back in high school, while at summer camp, he found out his parents had died from their car falling off the bridge into the river. Static felt helpless. He felt numb. It didn’t feel real. His heart felt hollowed.

In order to find closure he went looking after the old car to build a memory of them. His dad loved the car and Static remembered as a kid helping him get new parts to replace the old. Late at night he finds it with his friend, who owns a tow truck, and helps get the car out of the water. His face cried for the last time that night.

Late at night while he was working on the car the power went out. While he  was turning the power back on he shocked himself and something happened. This wasn’t a super hero transformation. It was worse. His eyes began to scramble and there was a high pitched noise. He was stuck. He was stuck not in his mind, but in a place where his body was on a thread with radio waves. He felt his soul slip and blacked out. He woke up unable to explain what happened, he was now blind and unable to understand what was going on. He put his hands to his head and felt a tv dial. The dial was able to clear the static from his vision so he was able to see.

Static had lost some of his memories including his name after this shock. On this journey with his friends he learns to deal with his new body and how he will overcome it all.
